Romeo and Juliet Cowl MCAL




Romeo and Juliet is a crocheted cowl worked in the round. Crocheted with 2 colors and trim with beautiful lace sprinkled with beads. This cowl can be made using any weight of yarn. You can get a cozy and warm cowl with heavier yarn for fall or winter, or dainty and lacy piece with lighter weight. Any versions will create a dramatic effect to your outfit like the name suggest. As with all my other patterns, this pattern comes with row-by-row written direction in US crochet term and charts. 

Yarn: Any weight of yarn. 
Yardage needed: Flexible. 
Hook: Depend on your yarn and preference. 
Notion: removable stitch markers, Size 6 seed beads. 
Level: Intermediate - Advanced 
Finished measurements: Totally up to you.

Note: The Romeo color is very difficult to photograph. It appear darker and grey in the photo. In the real life it is more to the blue-purple-grey-ish (depend on the lighting).

It Calls Me Crocheted Shawl Pattern For Sale

This is the reveal of the MCAL that I had on 7 June - 26 July 2018 called "It Calls Me."

I had specific idea in my mind when I designed this shawl, however, somehow the result not very good. In the end, I used combination between "Part of Your World" body and "Rapunzel" edging. The result was better than my expectation.

It Calls Me is a beautiful crescent shape shawl that both enjoyable to make and easy to wear. This shawl is designed using lace weight yarn but you can use fingering weight yarn as well. As with all my other patterns, this pattern comes with row-by-row written direction in US crochet term and charts.

Material for Size S (L): Lace weight yarn 800 (1600) yards 1 (2) skeins of Rendezvous Silky Lace 50% Merino Wool / 50% Silk; 800 yards /100g)

Hook: 4.50 mm (G) 0.60 mm (16 US) steel crochet hook for beads (optional)

Notion: Removable stitch markers or scrap yarn. 728 (1156) size 6 beads 

Level: Intermediate.

Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust Shawl Pattern For Sale

This is the reveal of the shawl MKAL that I had in 8 March - 19 April 2018 called "Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust."

This pattern was designed as a challenge to use specked yarn. Since I did not want the specked color to overwhelmed the design, I purposely used a lot of twisted stitches to make the lace design pop. Overall I really happy with the result and I really love the long crescent shape of this shawl. It is very versatile to wear.

Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust is a crescent shaped shawl worked from the bottom up. The pattern is worked on the both the wrong and right sides. Pattern includes charts and written directions. If you would like to add beads to your shawl, I include instructions on where to place the beads.

Suggested yarn: Rendezvous Precious Speckled or any fingering weight yarn.

Yardage needed for S (M, L):
Rendezvous Precious Speckled 440 (540, 780) yard / 400 (495, 720) meter fingering weight yarn. 

Finished Sizes (Relaxed):

"Do You Want to Build A Snowman?" Crochet Cowl Pattern for Sale

Another long overdue post.
This is the reveal of my cowl MCAL that I had last year called "Do You Want to Build A Snowman?"

Do you want to build a snowman? is a reversible crocheted cowl worked in the round. This cowl is designed with gradient yarn in mind. The size is adjustable As with all my other patterns, this pattern comes with row-by-row written direction in US crochet term and charts.

Yarn: DK weight gradient yarn.

Yardage needed:
For smallest circumference 19” (48 cm ) you need 100 gram (273 yard / 250 m) yarn.
With additional 1.5” (4 cm) in circumference you need additional 23 yard / 21 m yarn.

Hook: 4.5 mm (G) (adjust hook size accordingly to get gauge), 14 US / 0.75 mm steel crochet hook for beads (optional)

Notion: removable stitch markers, 108 pcs size 5 beads for smallest size (plus 9 pcs per additional repeat).

Level: Intermediate

Finished measurements:
Circumference: The smallest circumference is 19” (48 cm) with additional 1.5” (4 cm) for every repeat pattern.
